In a city where industrial sound research has been boiling with undiminished intensity in recent years, in 2018 it became a temporary home for three artists. Participating in the MATTERS sound residencies, they constructed soundscapes from noise, pauses, and urbanistic errors. Upon leaving this city, each of them – Brigitta Bödenauer (A), Donia Jourabchi (NL), and William “Bilwa” Costa (US) – left behind a sonic self-portrait. All of them were compiled into a compact disc Anthropophonia, which was shared during the concert of PHONĒ.
The concluding concert of the PHONĒ project featured π, Skeldos, and Sala.
